Global youth unemployment has hit a record high following the financial crisis and is likely to get worse later this year, the International Labor Organization (ILO) said Thursday.

Winston Davidian | Photodisc | Getty Images
The report from the ILO says 81 million out of 630 million 15-24 year olds where unemployed at the end of 2009, some 7.8 million more than at the end of 2007.

Thursday marks the first day of the UN International Youth Year; the ILO warned these trends will have “significant consequences for young people as upcoming cohorts of new entrants join the ranks of the already unemployed.”

The world risks a crisis legacy of a “lost generation” of young people who dropped out of the job market, the organization added in its report.

The report also points out that the unemployment rates of youth have proven to be more sensitive to the crisis than the rates of adults and that the recovery of the job market for young men and women is likely to lag behind that of adults.

It indicates that in developed and some emerging economies, the crisis impact on youth is felt mainly in terms of rising unemployment and the social hazards associated with discouragement and prolonged inactivity.

“In developing countries, crisis pervades the daily life of the poor” said ILO Director-General Juan Somavia.

“The effects of the economic and financial crisis threaten to exacerbate the pre-existing decent work deficits among youth,” Somavia said. “The result is that the number of young people stuck in working poverty grows and the cycle of working poverty persists through at least another generation.”

Investment in education will be lost and governments will not receive contributions to social security systems, while at the same time being forced to raise spending on services to correct the problem, if the situation continues, he warned.

“Young people are the drivers of economic development,” Somavia said. “Foregoing this potential is an economic waste and can undermine social stability.”

He sees the crisis as “an opportunity to re-assess strategies for addressing the serious disadvantages that young people face as they enter the labor market.”

There is a solution, where these young people DON’T NEED A JOB, where their background, ethnicity, and education don’t matter, and their age and circumstances don’t make any difference. Here it is: YOUNG DOLLARMAKERS. Tried and tested over 23 years, our training and support WORKS.

I don’t have to go into any detail about the danger of expecting teachers or professors to be equipped to teach your child or young adult how to be successful in the real world – that’s like asking me to teach you how to fix your car – it will never run again. It’s like expecting your cat to catch a frisbee in the park, or a politician to tell you the truth. Instead, read what the genius H.L. Mencken wrote, and, if you agree, read on. If not, watch CNN for more socialist programming.

H. L. Mencken wrote in The American Mercury for April 1924 that “The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States, whatever pretensions of politicians, pedagogues other such mountebanks, and that is its aim everywhere else.”

He wrote in New York Evening Mail, 23 Jan. 1918, “The average American college fails…to achieve its ostensible ends. One failure…of the colleges lies in their apparent incompetence to select and train a sufficient body of intelligent teachers. Their choice is commonly limited to second-raters, for a man who really knows a subject is seldom content to spend his lifetime teaching it: he wants to function in a more active and satisfying way, as all other living organisms want to function. There are, of course, occasional exceptions to this rule, but they are very rare, and none of them are to be found in the average college. The pedagogues there incarcerated are all inferior men – men who really know very little about the things they pretend to teach, and are too stupid or too indolent to acquire more. Being taught by them is roughly like being dosed in illness by third-year medical students.

The truth is that the average schoolmaster, on all the lower levels, is and always must be…next door to an idiot, for how can one imagine an intelligent man engaging in so puerile an avocation?”

He also wrote, “Consider [the pedagogue] in his highest incarnation: the university professor. What is his function? Simply to pass on to fresh generations of numskulls a body of so-called knowledge that is fragmentary, unimportant, and, in large part, untrue. His whole professional activity is circumscribed by the prejudices, vanities and avarices of his university trustees, i.e., a committee of soap-boilers, nail manufacturers, bank-directors and politicians. The moment he offends these vermin he is undone. He cannot so much as think aloud without running a risk of having them fan his pantaloons.”

And, “Every contribution to human progress on record has been made by some individual who differed sharply from the general, and was thus, almost ipso facto, superior to the general. Perhaps the palpably insane must be excepted here, but I can think of no others. Such exceptional individuals should be permitted, it seems to me, to enjoy every advantage that goes with their superiority, even when enjoying it deprives the general. They alone are of any significance to history. The rest are as negligible as the race of cockroaches, who have gone unchanged for a million years…”

OK, if you basically agree with Mencken, let’s proceed. A teacher cannot teach your kid how to make money. That’s like expecting a virgin to understand pregnancy, or Obama to know how to run a free, capitalist country. Only someone who has achieved something worthwhile in business more than once and has made and kept his money is qualified to teach young people how to make money. And if you think making lots of money isn’t important, you probably have no money, or you inherited or won or married what you’ve got. Or you’re a mystic who believes money is bad but secretly wish you had more of it.

There is an alternative to the option of turning the youth we love into submissive robots who work too hard for too little, who never have enough time or money to really think or question or challenge the status quo, and who live their lives in quiet desperation while they perpetuate the system and justify their mediocrity with silly, mystical myths and drown their honest questions in sport, drugs, and television. The solution is the right information, and it is available from Young DollarMakers. We teach young people from fourteen to forty how to be heroes, to make their dreams come true, to be free, and to be rich. Jump on board, if you like. Click Here for more information.

What is child abuse? Barbara Harris is a well known campaigner who adopted four drug-addicted babies and campaigns for government to make it illegal for drug addicts to breed. Most of those drug addicted babies go from foster home to foster home and 50% of them end up homeless at the age of eighteen. More information here.

When you hurt children, mess their futures up, give them bad information that will undermine their lives, or hurt their physical or emotional well being, you’re a child abuser. Someone who smokes around children is a child abuser. Someone who teaches children that they will burn forever in hell if they don’t accept a mythical imaginary friend, as a Catholic teacher told me when I was ten (my mom sorted him out, fortunately) is as much a child abuser as the priest who molests little boys.

If I persuade a child to make choices that I know will sabotage his financial future, I might as well be selling him fake Chinese silver or drugs. That is child abuse. How old does the child have to be? Eighteen? Child abuse is child abuse, even if those who wish to protect their jobs and those who have a vested interest in selling false information don’t agree. This is the response of government departments when Barbara Harris is invited to England to help stop druggies from reproducing.

When US army recruiters mislead children from poor families with false information to get them to join the army, they are abusing children. After all, they have a job to do and quotas to meet – they are salespeople. When teachers tell children that they need a good education in order to be successful and make money and be secure in today’s world, they are unknowingly abusing those children by giving them the wrong information. And when bank manages give information to children that guarantees they will always be in debt, they, too, are abusing children. The same goes for many college professors, who have never run a real business (or who failed in business and ended up teaching young people how to fail, too.) Would you rather have young people learn about money from Trump or Obama? Think about it.

The alternative is always available, however unpopular. When Port Coquitlam city officials made two young boys tear down their lemonade stand because they didn’t have the correct licenses, Young DollarMakers stepped up and issued them a check for $200 – the boys were simply trying to raise money for their soccer team. Young DollarMakers teaches young people from 14 to 40 how to become successful in the real world. They provide honest information that helps instead of hurts, so that the lies that kids are told by their teachers, preachers, and politicians (and bank managers) don’t hurt them.

If you care about the youth, you can sponsor underprivileged children to be properly trained and supported by other, successful young people in this organization for a mere $10 per month per child. This is not a charity or a not for profit organization – we are capitalists working in an increasingly socialist world, providing valuable information and preventing informational child abuse. For more information, e-mail me robin@dollarmakers.com

Have you ever spoken about a grand ideal, an exciting vision, a remarkable opportunity, and seen the eyes of your listener glaze over? How OLD was that sceptic? Have you ever bubbled over with excitement and enthusiasm about a project, and your listener responded by dumping a huge, figurative bucket of ice cold water over you? How OLD was that pessimist? How about the loser that responds to your optimism with a derogatory smile, a condescending chuckle, or worse, an excuse to escape your presence as soon as possible? How old was that one?

I’m fifty-seven years old, and although this is a generalization, the people in my life that make things happen, that are courageous, motivated, energetic, innovative, and enthusiastic about great new things, are usually under forty. I know that youth is an attitude, but it is usually found among young people. Most of them, in fact, are under thirty! They have confidence, audacity, creativity, and optimism on their side, unlike the worn-out old cynics, whose doubt is exceeded only by their egos. I don’t need wet blankets with no future to ridicule things they don’t even understand. So I invest in young people. They are our future, and their lives don’t revolve around the past and how smart they think they are.

Yesterday, I had a fascinating meeting with Dean Ponak, who, at 42, will never lose his youthful excitement about what is possible, and we discussed the future of the Internet and mobile devices. I love learning and taking advantage of early adopter opportunities. That’s why DollarMakers continues to prosper as others slide into the ditches along the road to the future – innovation, selectivity, and value – never-ending improvement and learning, with a strong team of young, vibrant people who share a common vision and enjoy the autonomy, purpose, and mastery afforded them through the DollarMakers Organization.

We only have one life, and we are limited to 24 hours a day. Don’t waste that on has-beens and losers. Invest in the up-and-coming youth of today, those with young attitudes, and those with exciting visions. I remember one man who suggested I cease to tell people that I was “excited” – ’nuff said. What will your life look like in ten years? Do you want to surround yourself with achievers and successful entrepreneurs, or with smelly old fogies who talk about their operations, their medicines, and their aches and pains all day long? My dad is 87, but he never got old. He is still thinking up inventions and looking for a publisher for his book. While his contemporaries are waiting to die, he’s still setting goals.

How can you hitch a ride on the exciting Youth Express to a wonderful, fulfilling future? How can you contribute massively from your experience and resources? This is the best investment you can make, and the return on your investment, both financial and psychological, is unlimited. Smart entrepreneurs and investors look for a good investment. HERE IT IS: Young DollarMakers. Sponsor, invest, jump on board – hitch your wagon to this rising star that has unlimited potential.

Our future is in the hands of our young people. We know that. Anyone who has read Malcolm Gladwell’s wonderful book, “Outliers” will be amazed at how important the input our young people receive is, and it has little to do with school funding, as most people think it has.

“The lesson here is very simple. But it is striking how often it is overlooked. We are so caught in the myths of the best and the brightest and the self-made that we think outliers spring naturally from the earth. We look at the young Bill Gates and marvel that our world allowed that thirteen-year-old to become a fabulously successful entrepreneur. But that’s the wrong lesson. Our world only allowed one thirteen-year-old unlimited access to a time sharing terminal in 1968. If a million teenagers had been given the same opportunity, how many more Microsofts would we have today? To build a better world we need to replace the patchwork of lucky breaks and arbitrary advantages that today determine success – the fortunate birth dates and the happy accidents of history – with a society that provides opportunities for all.”
- Malcolm Gladwell (Outliers).

If you knew that YOU had the ability to dramatically impact the lives and futures of specific young people, what would you do? There is a solution. Mr. Gladwell again: “Superstar lawyers and math whizzes and software entrepreneurs appear at first blush to lie outside ordinary experience. But they don’t. They are products of history and community, of opportunity and legacy. Their success is not exceptional or mysterious. It is grounded in a web of advantages and inheritances, some deserved, some not, some earned, some just plain lucky – but all critical to making them who they are. The outlier, in the end, is not an outlier at all.

Do you see the consequences of the way we have chosen to think about success? Because we so profoundly personalize success, we miss opportunities to lift others onto the top rung…We are too much in awe of those who succeed and far too dismissive of those who fail. And most of all, we become much too passive. We overlook just how large a role we all play – and by ‘we’ I mean society – in determining who makes it and who doesn’t.”

Young people need to learn the right things from the right (YOUNG) people – as early as possible. We have been fortunate to recruit and train an exceptional young leader who has put together a dynamic team of winners to create and run Young DollarMakers, including the powerful Freedom Tour seminar and ongoing support, education, and Membership.

You have the opportunity to sponsor ten young people to attend a Freedom Tour seminar for the dramatically discounted investment of only $500 fully inclusive, for all ten of them. (Twenty for $900). Yes, you can change the lives of young people that easily. (You can also sponsor their Memberships at a mere $10 per month per Student.) Leave a lasting legacy – it’s more affordable than you think.

And you will receive a letter from every Student you Sponsor – AFTER the event – to treasure forever.

By Robert A. Hall

I’m 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.” Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I’m tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China , the crime and violence of Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of Iran , and the freedom of speech of Venezuela .

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.

I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.

I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military…. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British, Canadian and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois , where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

Robert A. Hall is a Marine Vietnam veteran who served five terms in the Massachusetts State Senate.

Robert A. Hall is also the actor who plays the coroner on CSI if you watch that show. He is much more than an actor.

Cutting costs has a direct impact on your bottom line. It will quickly free up some cash flow.

1. Memberships of Service Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, Sports Clubs, Golf Clubs, and any other fraternal groups

Work out what it costs you to be a Member in terms of time, money, interruptions, parking, gas, auto maintenance, and everything else. What is your measured, specific return on investment? How much time and money would you save if you quit them all and focused those resources on your business instead? Those who are already doing business with you won’t simply leave you if you explain. Those who do leave you aren’t worth your time and they are easy to replace.

Masons, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking Meetings, coaching Little League, – take a good hard look and explain specifically, with NUMBERS, on PAPER, why you can’t immediately resign and reallocate those resources. Pretend you’re talking to an accountant. Can you really justify these Memberships and activities?

2. Gifts to people / Incentives

Rika and I used to shower gifts on associates, Members, JV Partners, clients – it cost a fortune and didn’t create results. People took them for granted. Christmas cards, promotional gifts, and so on, cost time and money. If you want to give something away to thank people, to encourage referrals, to create loyalty and increase sales, to incentivize sales or upsells and get peoples’ undivided attention, here is a way to spend $1 to give away over $2,000 in value: www.WealthCreatorGroup.com – when you can give away a program that sells for between $1,300 and $3,500 retail and will save people tens of thousands of debt dollars, plus a free holiday, and it only costs you one dollar, THEN it’s worth investing in gifts. For more information, e mail me robin@dollarmakers.com with your full name and contact information and ask about the Wealth Creator Group.

And you can make money introducing this to your friends and associates. And if you run a charity or a Not-for-Profit, you can easily make $100,000 at no cost or risk using this proven system.

3. Unproductive Employees and Salespeople

As I said earlier, employees are there to make you money. You are not there to provide jobs for people, no matter who they are. You can either make them productive, or you have to fire them. The business is the cow that provides the milk. You can’t sacrifice the cow for lazy or inept people. People are motivated by three main things: Purpose, Autonomy, and Mastery. They are motivated by acceptance, feeling important, contribution, opportunity to excel and get promoted, and recognition. Money is not the biggest motivator.

Evaluate the production and contribution of every employee. If one is away on holiday, do the others cope? Would they cope if two were away on holiday? Yes? Why not fire one, then, and share half his salary with the rest of the people, while you keep the other half?

It is up to your employees to justify why you should NOT fire them. It is up to you to give them the opportunity to place them in a job where they can use their strengths and skills to the utmost in order to benefit the bottom line of your business. You can use DiSC Personality Assessments to make sure the people are correctly placed, and you can adjust their job descriptions or move them around to optimize their productivity, but if you can get a better employee for a lower price, you know what to do.

Can you move any employees from full-time to part time? Can you move any onto a commission-only basis, and pay for results, instead of promises? That’s what I do. Can they work from home and take a drop in salary? Can you pay them using Trade and Barter? (Barter Dollars that you can earn from a Trade company by selling your underutilized resources or inventory you can’t move – convert dead inventory or time into trade dollars to use to offset cash expenses). See http://www.barterfirst.com/ for more information on how you can use Trade. You can also trade your own products and services for work done by providing a discount to employees / workers. In other words, seek alternative and cheaper forms of payment.

4. Advertising and Marketing that Doesn’t Work

You should monitor every advertising and marketing dollar to see if the return on investment is worth it or not. What doesn’t work should be tweaked or scrapped. In fact, once you use Joint Ventures correctly, you will be able to scrap MOST of your advertising and marketing budget. Printing T shirts for soccer clubs or donating money to the hospice to get a certificate is a waste of money if you’re expecting sales from it.

If you’re using a so-called “Consultant” or “Coach,” consider paying for results instead of talk, and make sure that person can prove their own successful track record in business. You can’t learn from some arrogant kid who paid a fortune for a cookie-cutter “Consultant Course.” Consider carefully who you’re taking business advice from. Definitely not from accountants or “Financial Planners” or bank managers.

Scrap what doesn’t work and save the money.

5. Overall Expenses

Build an incentive program into your business where your employees share part of the savings they create. Measure EVERYTHING. Especially in restaurants, with things like the candies you give away, laundry of table cloths, detergent use, theft – I could go on all day. When I was a Food and Beverage Manager with Holiday Inns, my annual bonus was in direct proportion to the PROFIT in my department, and EVERY expense was carefully measured. If Tom finds a supplier where you can get the same products cheaper, share 50% of the savings with Tom on a monthly basis. You can learn a lot from your employees once they see how they can directly benefit. It becomes a game with goal posts and incentives – “How can we make more profit by cutting costs?”

As a Work Study Officer (Organization and Methods), I saw how much people waste just by using the wrong forms, the wrong work flow, and bad systems. Computers, copiers, and technical communication should be analyzed and streamlined. Call a techie in and tell him you will pay him half of all the money he SAVES you – and he must be able to measure and prove it – by redesigning some of your systems. Learn to do this with no cost, time, or risk to yourself or your business – pay for results only.

Review every single cost and work on it.

6. Receivables

If people owe you money, go after them. Get a good, nasty debt-collector on board and stop extending credit to your creditors. By allowing their debt to pile up, you’re weakening yourself and showing weakness. “When you are weak, appear strong, and when you are strong, appear weak” – Sun Tzu – The Art of War.

I remember my sister telling me that she was “bunking” from work – playing truant – like a silly schoolgirl. I told her she was stealing from her boss. I remember her complaining how much money her boss was making, and how little he paid her. I told her that nobody forced her to accept that job or that salary, and that nobody was standing in her way if she wanted to leave. If she started her own business and took all the risks that her boss had taken, she would be entitled to earn more money. You get paid in direct proportion to the amount of value you create for your boss – that’s why an exceptional actor or sportsman gets paid millions, while a lazy or mediocre player or actor gets little money.

An employee is someone who chooses to sell his time and skills to a business owner. In the same way he chooses to sell his house or his car, he will only receive what the market (in this case an employer) is willing to pay. He is not entitled to a job or to keep his job. He is entitled to whatever he accepts as payment. Nobody is forcing him to get a job or remain in any job instead of starting his own business.

An employer looks for people who will work hard, apply their skills, and make him more than he pays them. In other words, he wants to invest in an employee to receive the best possible return on his investment. He doesn’t want to pay more than he has to, since his motive is profit. That is why his business succeeds and good employees keep their jobs. The better the employee, the more he will pay that employee in order to stop the employee from leaving – it’s hard to find good people.

If the business owner finds a better employee at a lower price, he should consider firing his existing employee and hiring the better one, as anyone would do; if you can get a cheaper and better washing machine, that is the one you should buy. It’s not the boss’s problem if the employee spends more money than he makes – that does not entitle him to a raise. The employee doesn’t step up and help his boss when the boss has financial troubles.

Business owners are not responsible to hire their unemployed family members. In fact, it’s not smart to hire family, in most cases. The boss is not a counsellor, rescuer, social worker, or parent to his employees. He treats them well and with respect, but he is paying for a full day of work. It is up to the employee to work so hard and so well that he makes himself indispensable, that he creates so much profit and value for his boss that he is offered raises and bonuses, and even a partnership or profit sharing in the business. It’s up to the employee to be the best he can be, and to be better than all the people who are standing in line to get his job. There are probably a hundred immigrants who are harder working and more motivated than you are, and who will work for less if they can get your job tomorrow, and your boss knows it!

Research shows that smokers are less productive than non-smokers, that they use up hours of time to feed their disgusting addiction, when they should be working, and that they stink of tobacco, an unpleasant smell at the best of times. They are less healthy, and their breaths normally smell bad as well. If they don’t wash their hands, everything they touch smells of tobacco. Why would I hire or keep a smoker, unless he was an exceptional worker that I couldn’t find a replacement for?

Business owners are producers of jobs and value – they create work and opportunities for employees. They don’t owe society or their employees anything except the agreed-upon salary package. Most are realizing that it is better to have people work on a commission-only basis, so that they pay for results instead of promises. I’m not paying people for smoking, texting, drinking coffee, phoning and e-mailing their friends, playing Solitaire or writing on Facebook and Tweeting. When the cat is away, the mouse will play. Smart entrepreneurs send in secret shoppers and use cameras and recording devices to keep an eye on things while they’re not around. They insist on regular drug testing. They do criminal background checks.

Business owners have a lot more at stake – a lot more risk – and a lot more to lose – than their employees, who will ride the unemployment insurance machine until they get the next job, so the employers are entitled to decide who they employ, who and when they fire them, and if and when they give raises (or reduce salaries.) They are entitled to pay for results and profits instead of “busy” work.

Business owners look for a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good people skills, consistency, reliability, good work skills, dependency, honesty, good grooming and clothing, a good work ethic, and the ability to innovate and think for themselves and take responsibility.

When employees start thinking like entrepreneurs, they will find themselves earning a lot more money and being offered wonderful things they never thought possible.

You know that 20% of your customers provide 80% of your income. What are you doing with the 80% who waste your time and frustrate you? Would you rather spend $1 on each of a thousand random people, or $500 each on two proven, reliable clients who can make a huge change in your business? We need to be more selective, to spend our dollars more carefully, to think more strategically, and understand the Back End and Profit.

Let me give you a real-life example. Here in British Columbia, the government is providing a business stimulus grant of up to $5,000 per business with less than 50 employees to improve their productivity, make them more competitive, and increase their profitability through private training. We put together a powerful, interactive, two day training program that knocks the socks off anything else out there, and we have people giving this training away to business owners. I have actually included the itinerary at the end of this article. It costs the business NOTHING except to attend for two days, and we actually pay the person that invites them a 20% commission. (Our people can each make $30K in commissions in the next two months alone, plus the Back End…) Businesses are already receiving cheques from the government for our training, so the process works.

You won’t believe the responses our people get when offering this training at no cost – training that can revolutionize these businesses:
It’s a pyramid scheme
It’s too good to be true
There must be some catch
I don’t want to pay my people while they attend training…

These are LOSER responses. They don’t want to pay for training, and when the government pays, they think there’s a catch! But the SMART business owners are signing up fast while there is still government money available for this allocation. Now, if the government was providing the training, I would also be sceptical, but we have a 24-year track record of doubling and quadrupling the profits in businesses.

So we tell our people, as soon as your prospective gift receiver starts with these kinds of responses, walk out and talk with a winner. We don’t want losers in the two-day event – only winners. Stop trying to change losers into winners – you can’t. Spend your time wisely. Walk away from those who pose, pretend, paralyse, and mooch – work with producers and creators, and you’ll make more money, and be a lot happier.

Here’s the Program – we’re running a few different dates, first one in September. Only available in BC to BC businesses.

Jillian Brock, Marketing Director of Young DollarMakers wrote this excellent article:

For 27 years I thought I had it figured out: Go to school, get good grades, get a good job (with full benefits) then work my way up the corporate ladder always keeping my eye on the prize – the corner office.

While I did achieve the good grades and held great jobs with every opportunity to become ‘Queen of the Corporate world’, it became clear that something was missing. The dream of wearing power suits, jet-setting to business meetings, walking swiftly to the next boardroom while juggling multiple client files, presentation boards and a coffee, all while in a pair of Manolos, was dying. I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning…I mean if this was the goal then why did it feel so much like ‘work’ to even drag myself out of bed? The answer: This wasn’t my dream.

This didn’t become clear to me until I had the opportunity to attend a conference where the headliner was Pastor and motivational speaker, John Maxwell. Thinking he was going to be just another motivational scam artist, making money off the plight of others; I sat and listened with scepticism. Boy was I wrong. John Maxwell asked me (well, me and 9,000 of my closest associates) 10 questions about my ‘dream’ and it became abundantly clear that my dream was my parents’ dream, the medias’ dream, every woman who needed to prove somethings’ dream. Not Jill’s Dream.

Since then I have begun to get clarity around my purpose in life, my mission and my dream. Don’t get me wrong, the dream that I had to be a Corporate Goddess, a decision maker with great shoes, is an AMAZING dream…it is just not mine.

My dream is unfolding in front of my eyes being involved with Young DollarMakers. My mission and purpose is playing out with each Young DollarMakers Freedom Tour that occurs. Knowing that I am inspiring others, not with what I HAVE, but with my BEING and DOING is frankly, beyond description.

In Put Your Dream to the Test, author John C. Maxwell proposes 10 questions for achieving your dream. The more that you can say YES to each of the 10 questions, the more likely that you are to achieve your goal, your dream.
The book really *is* worth reading to gain a greater understanding of each question. I was thoroughly impacted with this book. Here are the 10 questions with a very brief summary of each.
Note: every single sentence written below in this summary is an entire discussion on it’s own (found in the book). Consider taking a moment to contemplate what each sentence means on its own, outside of the context of the other sentences that surround it.

1. The Ownership Question: “Is My Dream Really My Dream?”
…or is it my parents’ dream? the media’s dream? my spouse’s dream? When a dream really is YOUR dream you own it and will do anything to achieve it. And it’s also important that your dream is YOUR dream… you aren’t comparing yourself or your dream to others.

2. The Clarity Question: “Do I Clearly See My Dream?”
…this means getting *specific* on your goals; getting clear also requires hard work to look honestly within yourself, and learn from your past efforts. A Clear Dream will then affirm your priorities, make your direction clear, and give you motivation.

3. The Reality Question: “Am I Depending on Factors within My Control to Achieve my Dream?”
…working with my strengths, being VERY honest about my abilities and potential, as well as my weaknesses and bad habits. “Reality… is the enemy of fantasies but not of dreams” (Ruettiger).

4. The Passion Question: “Does My Dream Compel Me to Follow It?”
…passion is what pulls us through adversity, and gives us initiative. You know that your Passion is 10/10 when the fire inside you ignites others.

5. The Pathway Question: “Do I Have a Strategy to Reach My Dream?”
…where am I now? Where do I *want* to be in the future? What’s the gap between here and there? Do at least *one* thing to get you closer to your dream every single day. Action is at the crux of fulfilling any strategy and any dream.

6. The People Question: “Have I Included the People I Need to Realize My Dream?”
…your dream requires a team… of people that: inspire you, are honest with you, whose skills complement yours. They must also understand and support your vision. “A dream is a compelling vision you see in your heart that’s too big to accomplish without the help of others.” (Hodges)

7. The Cost Question: “Am I Willing to Pay the Price for My Dream?”
The Dream is Free, but the Journey Isn’t. You will have to Pay the Price *sooner* than you think, the price will be *higher* than you expect, and you’ll have to pay it *more than once*. It’s also possible to pay *too much* for your dream. All dreams are outside of our comfort zone. Leaving that zone is a price we must pay to achieve them.

8. The Tenacity Question: “Am I Moving Closer to My Dream?”
Are you merely a starter? Or also a Finisher? Feed your greater self, your inner Winner, while starving your lower self, your inner Loser. Waiting for everything to be Right… is Wrong. The necessary resources for your Dream stop the moment that you do. Regardless of how big a tree is, if you simply take 5 swings of an axe *every day*, sooner or later it WILL fall. “Effort only releases its rewards after a person refuses to quit.” (Stone)

9. The Fulfillment Question: “Does Working toward My Dream Bring Satisfaction?”
Achievement is about more than just what you accomplish – it’s about who you become in the process. Understand that my ideal vision of the future is not likely; yes I will succeed, but it will likely be a whole lot messier than I imagine – that’s life. Appreciate each step in the journey – “The twin killers of success are impatience and greed.” (Rohn)

10. The Significance Question: “Does My Dream Benefit Others?”
This is the simplest and most far-reaching of the questions. Work on yourself – the more that you *have*, the more that you have *to give*. The accomplishment of a significant dream comes only when a person has something to offer. What are you going to invest in yourself, and what are you going to invest in others? A dream isn’t worthy of a person’s life if it doesn’t benefit others. And it isn’t fulfilling unless it is achieved *with* others. One is too small a number to achieve greatness. Dream bigger and include others in your dream. Lead others to join you in the process. It will enlarge you, enlarge them, and benefit more people in a much more significant way.

When Comrade Husein Obama tells his followers that he will give them free health care, that he will give them the money of the rich, that he will provide all their needs according to his riches and glory, they applaud, cry, and worship him. “Just follow me / vote for me, and you’ll have no more problems.” And they believe it, because it’s easy to believe lies that make you feel good. They have seen so many movies in which black presidents and wise black people solve problems and come to the rescue that they actually believe it. Now THAT is racism – voting for him because he’s black. Yet 97% of blacks voted for him. What does that tell you?

People attend our DollarMakers seminars and then wait for money to drop out of the sky or magically accumulate in their bank accounts. When it doesn’t happen, they claim that our systems don’t work, in spite of the fact that those who used our systems have created millions of dollars in wealth over 24 years. It’s easier to watch “The Secret” and get all excited in a Tony Robbins seminar, than to get out and work. That’s why, in every country, immigrants generally do better than the average citizen. Why? Immigrants work hard and have big dreams. The only people scared of the immigrants are those who are too dumb or lazy to keep their jobs when hard-working immigrants arrive on the scene. Hence xenophobia. Losers are terrified of immigrants, and rightly so.

The government will sort it out. Santa will bring me gifts. God will help me. Mom and Dad will bail me out. The rich people owe me. And you end up with nothing. Politicians, preachers, teachers, and those with hidden agendas love to tell stories and make people feel good. False security – “It will never happen here – we’re the greatest nation on earth – if we treat the terrorists nicely, they won’t cut our heads off, so let’s bow and scrape to those who have told us in no uncertain terms that they are going to kill us.”

“Money doesn’t grow on trees – money is the root of all evil – business is bad” – that’s how a loser justifies the fact that he doesn’t provide for his family because he’s bone lazy. Funny how his church has so much money, though… hmmm… If you lose your job and you’re fifty years old, you need to start your own business, not mope around for years whining that you can’t get a job and blaming banks! You don’t need a job – you need balls!

So perhaps it’s time for a wake-up call, and I believe Obama is achieving that very nicely. Apart from achieving a lot of family holidays and smoking a lot of cigarettes (what a great role model he is), he is demonstrating clearly to every American how to destroy a country, and that if you don’t get off your backside and take decisive, courageous action, you’ll go down the plug like South Africa (Mandela was also a hero, remember?), Zimbabwe (every African country, actually), Europe, and Britain. America can end up a Muslim country a lot easier than most people realize. And China is not a friendly, helpful, and understanding partner, believe me. They’ll gut you before you can bow to them.

Thomas Sowell, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh – these brave people are not perfect, but they are voices in the wilderness that should be heard, and we need to support and promote them. Read Atlas Shrugged AGAIN. Give a copy to the intelligent people you know. Atlas is about to shrug. Many thinking Americans will leave and come to Canada. Many businesses will leave America. It’s not too late, yet, but the clock is ticking. No more time for polite discussions. Break free from your delusions. Time to fight for your freedom – on a personal, societal, and political level, before you lose it.

My work on my latest (14th) book is finally done – the basics for the cover, the editing by Brent in New Zealand, etc., – now Winston will do his thang, make the cover pretty, and get it onto Lulu.com and into e-book shape. I called it “My Life So Far” and left out the bad and sad parts of my life, brief as they have been. People attending the DollarMakers 2010 Conference will get the e-book free of charge. It made me think of Seneca’s quote: “As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.”

During the writing, which took a lot of time and soul-searching, especially when I decided to leave out the bad and sad, let alone continuously trying to reboot my old memory (don’t we all suppress and forget things we don’t like?) a few things became really clear to me, so the benefits of writing this particular book have been substantial. Taking a mental meander down Memory Lane while waiting for a bus in the rain is one thing; writing it all down in some semblance of order and leaving out enough details to keep the flow, is altogether another endeavour. But over the time I spent bowed down to my computer screen, two fingers skittering and jerking over the keyboard like drunken Pikeys, I did manage to distil a few lessons.

Lesson #1:
In retrospect, things are never as bad or important as they seem. With time, we get a free shot of perspective. And time is all we’ve got – so don’t waste it.

Lesson #2:
The earlier you get on the right track, the better. Time is money, and dithering costs coin. Definitely read “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell. After that, you’ll be signing up every young person you care about to join Young DollarMakers, believe you me.

Lesson #3:
Focus on the future, don’t dwell on the past. As J.K Rowling said in her Commencement Address at Harvard, “There is an expiry date on blaming your parents for steering you in the wrong direction; the moment you are old enough to take the wheel, responsibility lies with you.”

Lesson #4:
Family is extremely important, but only family who build you up, support, share, endure, encourage, and care about you. The rest weren’t your choice, anyway.

Lesson #5:
Your philosophy and beliefs, along with your self-discipline and courage, are your greatest assets. You’re either a winner or a loser – by constant choice.

Lesson #6:
What goes around comes around – we reap what we sow – it just usually takes a lot longer than we expect. But eventually, you’ll either pick up the gold coin or step in the poo…

Lesson #7:
Embrace change, as long as it takes you up instead of down. LIVE your life – don’t live vicariously through soap opera actors and sports stars.

Lesson #8:
Learn from the right people, and don’t compromise – read “The Fountainhead.”

Lesson #9:
Nobody is perfect or infallible – even Christopher Hitchens voted for the scumbag Obama.

Lesson #10:
We all see things differently. The two people will remember different things about a shared experience. We’re more different than we think we are. It helps to remember that.

As with every book, I always promise myself, “That’s the last one – I’m not even a writer.” Hopefully, this time I’ll keep my promise to myself. When it’s ready, you’ll read about it if you’re reading this article. There are much better books to buy, though, and they’re free in libraries – you’ll LOVE P.G. Wodehouse.

Then he quoted the 4th of July Speech of Prof. Patrick Mullins:

“No! No! Tell a man whose house is on fire to give a moderate alarm; tell him to moderately rescue his wife from the hands of the ravisher; tell the mother to gradually extricate her babe from the fire into which it has fallen;—but urge me not to use moderation in a cause like the present. I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.”

I respect people like Glenn Beck, whose life, and the lives of his family are constantly under threat by those who don’t want the truth told. Churchill, Ayn Rand, General Patton – these people had the courage of their convictions. They told the truth. They didn’t compromise, water their message down, or back off. Ayn Rand said, “I can accept anything, except what seems to be the easiest for most people: the half-way, the almost, the just-about, the in-between.”

Mediocrity and the middle of the road is the sign of a loser, a weakling, one without a purpose or conviction. Those who are always smiling, hugging, agreeing, and bowing and scraping are ducks, not eagles. Look at an eagle’s eyes – he never smiles. He is focused on his purpose. He flies alone. Sidney Sheldon wrote, “The foolish think the Eagle weak, and easy to bring to heel. The Eagle’s wings are silken, but its claws are made of steel.”

Stand up for what you believe in – die with self-respect and dignity.

Why is DollarMakers growing instead of shrinking?

Why does ANY business grow? Watch these two fantastic videos by Dan Pink, illustrating rationally, with facts to back his argument up, that three things motivate people more than the traditional “Carrot and Stick.” In this case, science and business as we usually practice it are at odds.

1. Autonomy (self-direction)
2. Mastery
3. Purpose

He argues and proves that extrinsic motivators – money and punishment – the carrot and stick – often don’t work and often do harm! If-then rewards only work with mechanical skills, but with even rudimentary cognitive skill requirements, they narrow focus and restrict our accomplishments. Intrinsic motivators work with choices and activities that require right brain, non-obvious, conceptual abilities. When we are free to work on our own, when the work we do matters to us – it’s interesting, we like it, and it’s meaningful to us, and when we can hone our skills, we become very productive indeed.

DollarMakers functions on the principles we teach – we lead by example, and all our Leaders, Directors, Volunteers, Hosts, and Members operate on those three motivators: We all only do what we’re good at and enjoy, we do what we truly believe in, we’re completely free agents, we support each other, and we generously reward results with real money.

That’s why we grow and prosper, how we can operate with no risk, no overhead, no employees or inventory or royalties or stress, and why there are no limitations on what we can achieve or do, as long as we work according to our shared values. Together, we are doing truly amazing things.

Here are Mr. Pink’s two excellent videos:
Video 1.

Video 2

Now you see why our jealous detractors can’t understand why we grow and prosper without a sales and marketing budget. We’re principled and selective, and we share a common objective and passion – helping millions of people achieve financial freedom, and, in so doing, prospering ourselves.

If you knew a highly poisonous snake was slithering around in the playground with your grandchildren, you’d probably run to grab them to safety. Given, of course, that you like your grandchildren… If you knew there was a large bomb under your car seat with a random timer /detonator ticking happily away, you would possibly screech to a grinding halt, leap from the car, and run like a lunatic. Hang on, you forgot your mother-in-law was in the back seat… er, did you really forget? Enough silliness. So, what lurks in your business?

The First dangerous saboteur is disloyal people – employees, partners, associates. You can’t serve two masters, so make sure you read The Art of War and take the time to have a good look at your people. Record calls, put in cameras. They’ll soon forget about them. Spies and double agents should be eliminated – quickly – before they can do too much damage. Are they filtering business/ information to your competition? Are they setting themselves up as your competition? Check motives, agendas, motivations, whom they’re associating with, and where they go.

The Second is family working for you. This could be a repeat of the above, because of jealousy, passive aggression, or simple greed, but the most insidious danger is that of laziness, assumption, entitlement, and leverage. It’s hard to manage family members, and many take advantage and assume too much.

Third: The same applies to idiots who employ flirtatious sluts – they usually get burned when inviting snakes into their homes. But I am assuming my readers are aware of the danger of this – usually practised by men with weak self-esteem and a need to be accepted. Peter Daniels said he saw more businessmen fail because of promiscuous women than any other cause. Ayn Rand said, “A man’s sexual choice is the result and the sum of his fundamental convictions…. He will always be attracted to the woman who reflects his deepest vision of himself, the woman whose surrender permits him to experience a sense of self-esteem. The man who is proudly certain of his own value, will want the highest type of woman he can find, the woman he admires, the strongest, the hardest to conquer – because only the possession of a heroine will give him the sense of an achievement.”

The Fourth danger is impending events that we choose to ignore, like the fellow who refuses to acknowledge the fact that he is heading towards the crest of the waterfall, but chooses instead to play with his little Blackberry. This applies to changes in your industry, the arrival of new competition or offshore competition, outdated business products and services, key people who steal your best employees and leave you high and dry, the imminent departure or retirement of key producers, aging equipment, the end of a lease, and so on. Face facts and plan accordingly.

The Fifth is having all one’s eggs in one basket, that is focusing on a specific industry, niche, product, service, demographic, or geographical area. The same applies to having one customer or supplier who can, essentially, put you out of business if he chooses to. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Just look at Obama, America’s Arch Enemy. When you give someone so much power, you’re headed for hard times. Diversify by creating multiple additional, back-end incomes. Diversify and increase profits without risk through the use of Joint Ventures. Maintain control and live in the real world.

Finally, the Sixth danger is high overhead. This includes the high cost of expansion which reduces scalability and growth. Without strong, regular, reliable cash flow, you can easily slip under water and into debt. And because business is cyclical in a world where things change faster and faster, you need to have income plans B, C, D, and E – all working. Dig the well before you thirst, and get your ego under control. It’s a game.

DollarMakers can provide business owners the opportunity to double and quadruple profits, reduce risk and overhead, increase employee and customer loyalty, and allow more time – most of us work too hard and too long for way too little. The average small and medium-sized business earns about 10% of its potential profit. For more information, e-mail me robin@dollarmakers.com and tell me about your business.

Here’s a bonus – don’t hire smokers. And here’s proof. Here’s more.

Bertrand Russell wrote, “Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth, more than ruin, more even than death…Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.” Perhaps this sounds oversimplified. So let’s look at an example.

A kid’s parents use up all their savings for him to go to college. He duly graduates, gets a job, and works hard for twenty years. Then he gets fired and can’t find another job. So he goes bankrupt, because he has no way of creating an income apart from begging to be employed by someone else. He has taken the advice of his peers, his parents, his professors, his priest, his personal banker, and his “financial planner”. That’s how you control the masses. Make them tired, dull their minds with sport, movies, nicotine, liquor, pot, and silly mystical stories. Keep them in debt, in a trance, and in fear. And now he has nothing. He’s on the edge of the waterfall with no oars.

So I offer him an outboard motor: I tell him that I can show him how to create an income with no cost, selling, or risk. In fact, within a year, he can retire with more residual monthly income than he needs to live on, as many others have done. He doesn’t need a job or a boss. He refuses point blank to even consider the possibility, and simply slides deeper into debt, despondency, and desperation. He refuses to think.

Perhaps, when he was young, the myth about the tree with the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil was drummed into his vulnerable, naive young brain, and it’s stuck there, festering, ever since. Perhaps he believes that money, the one thing he so desperately needs, is truly the root of all evil… As Stendhal said, “All religions are founded on the fear of the many and the cleverness of the few.”

The fact is that, as Anatole France wrote, “If 50 million people believe a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.” Most people believe they need a job. So they need one. Most people believe they can’t become wealthy, so they don’t. Most people think it’s impossible to make $20,000 with one phone call. So they don’t. Because most people refuse to think seriously about anything outside of their comfort zone and conditioned beliefs. They surround themselves with other clones, robots, cult members, and like-minded (though I hate to use the word, “mind”, here) sheeple. Group Dynamics is a scary thing.

“That which you call your soul or spirit is your consciousness, and that which you call “free will” is your mind’s freedom to think or not, the only will you have, your only freedom, the choice that controls all the choices you make and determines your life and your character. Thinking is not an automatic function. In any hour and issue of his life, man is free to think or to evade that effort. Thinking requires a state of full, focused awareness. The act of focusing one’s consciousness is volitional.” ~ Ayn Rand.

After all, isn’t it easier NOT to think? This is what Ms. Rand refers to as “the act of blanking out, the willful suspension of one’s consciousness, the refusal to think—not blindness, but the refusal to see; not ignorance, but the refusal to know. It is the act of unfocusing your mind and inducing an inner fog to escape the responsibility of judgement”. I strongly recommend you read this: The Country of the Blind by H.G. Wells.

Thought is the way to true freedom. Analysis, not blind faith. The Buddha said, “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” If you want to change your life, it will take some thought. We don’t have money problems – we have THINKING problems. If you’re interested in using your powerful mind to break free from where you are now, DollarMakers has the tools you need.

Any sales manager or entrepreneur knows that those who can’t produce real results will produce reams of proof of activity and work. They justify being around and getting a salary by being busy. But they produce nothing. Creators and producers talk about sales and profits. They take responsibility. Losers (politicians, parasites, posers, parrots, paper pushers, peasants, and pretenders) tell you about all the people they saw, the meetings they held, their “pipeline of prospects”, their promises and expectations, what they TRIED to do… but no results – YET…

Stop listening to and encouraging this kind of blatant excusiology. Losers can’t produce. Horses can’t lay eggs, and chickens can’t pull carts. The Peter Principal is real – people get promoted to their level of incompetency. (Take a look at Obama, for example: Excellent community organizer, smoker, and socialist agitator, but a useless, inept president.) If that character that you hired as a salesperson can’t cut it, transfer him to the garbage room or an admin position, or fire him. Unless you like carrying passengers, that is. Then just send him home and pay him for being a loser. It’s called Unemployment Insurance.

Don Wilder said, “Excuses are the nails used to build a house of failure.” Steven Grayhm wrote, “Excuses are the tools with which persons with no purpose in view build for themselves great monuments of nothing.” In any environment: high tech, low tech, slow tech, or no tech, the losers will name, blame, complain and shame, and the winners will go out and get results. Look after your winners.

Let the horses pull the carts and let the chickens lay the eggs. And if you need carts pulled but not eggs laid, fire the chickens. Don’t accept their lies: “I’ll pay you as soon as I get paid by Jim / my ship comes in / I win the Lotto / hell freezes over / chickens can pull carts.” Winners accept responsibility and create a payment plan. Pay the salary you were paying to the phonies to your producers instead.

Save the Whales. Save the Rhino. Save some fish or other. Protect the environment. How about saving the minds of young people? There are a whole lot of very energetic, organized thugs out there who have a vested interest in corrupting and hijacking the rational minds of young people. And they’re well paid for it. Would you allow some creep to walk up and inject your child with heroin? Of course you wouldn’t. So why do you allow him to inject the kid’s MIND with lies that will sabotage and corrupt his entire life?

Those who are hell bent, if you’ll excuse the pun, on basting our kid’s brains in irrational fear and persecution fantasies before they can even walk, do so with full government authority. Someone wrote, “They corrupt the minds of children with an unjustifiable burden of guilt for events that mostly never occurred or alternatively that they cannot be rationally held accountable for. When they are desperate for forgiveness, offer them the illusion of same, all for the low, low price of lifelong servitude and prostration before a theistic mafia. Of course, difference or, even worse, dissent are anathema to this cosy little grift. As a result, any who do not believe, or who question your authority in any way, must be destroyed. If such destruction is impractical, then marginalization and disenfranchisement will have to suffice…”

Theistic guilt, false, collective racial guilt, ridiculous beliefs about money, carefully designed by bankers, and the grotesque collectivism that permeates our school and college faculties all operate with impunity. In fact, parents pay dearly to have the minds of their beloved children addled by wicked people in offices of authority. These swine offer carefully designed conditioning, social proof, celebrity association, acceptance, and bribes to effect their poisonous purpose.

Parents pay an organization that allows and supports paedophilia ten percent of their income. They teach their children to follow their financial example to accomplish a life of need, scarcity, mediocrity, and financial enslavement by creditors. And they insist on exposing those vulnerable minds to socialist teachers and college professors who intend to break down the drive, independence, ambition, self-esteem, and creative thinking of our youth.

Now that you’re thoroughly despondent, I can tell you that there is a solution. There exists a wonderful alternative. You can replace Rohypnol with rationalism, and mysticism with mental health. Instead of intimidation, offer independence and the courage to question. It comes in the form of a young, 27-year-old genius, Tim Francis, who is the Director of Young DollarMakers. For a mere ten dollars a month, you can offer your child (and any other young people you care about, from 14 to 40) real freedom. And we won’t make her shave her head, drink Kool-Aid, eat only vegetables, chant, or wear blinkers. We won’t scare her into submission, force her into blind faith, or discredit her opinions. We’ll teach her how to be mentally and financially free, and to accomplish any lifestyle she wants.

At the end of a recent, full day seminar, The Freedom Tour, Tim Francis received a standing ovation. The youngest person in the room was the event organizer, aged sixteen, and the oldest person in the room was 63. He offers young people profitability and a positive attitude instead of pot and peonage. And he leads by example.

As responsible parents, let’s make sure our legacy to our children and grandchildren is freedom and self-reliance.
